This is a classic oversize Acoma or more likely Laguna jar with thin walls and a wonderful design. The piece dates from around 1910. It has wonderful presence both in size and design. No restoration.

Rare Negative Zuni Jar

This unusual Zuni Jar dates from the 1890's and represents a short period of Zuni pottery making that included large sections of red with buff shoulders. This piece has oxidized to a brown patina over the years. The birds are fanciful and different.
